Does $4 a gallon gas hurt the economy?

When bush left, gas was $1.60 a gallon in Tenn. Now it $3.80, but in many cities gas is over $4 a gallon. How can Obama blame Bush for every problem he resfuses even attempt to resolve? He is a socialist operative followng his own adgenda to permanently damage or completely destroy our freedom that the American people had enjoyed in our nation over centuries.

    • Please remember inflationary practices in the world economy is causing the perception and rising valuation of gas and other commodities. What we are seeing here is the result of repeat stimulus. Our incomes do not rise, only the prices do. If you set up a chart adjusting for inflation, you might see that prices have not risen as perceived, only inflation is in play here. This administration has eliminated food and fuel from its core inflation calculations. How convenient. The bread and butter economy is not a consideration.

    • I'm in NY and it's over $4.00 for regular. Reg $4.15 Prem $4.65 and sometimes higher. You don't hear a peep from the Media talking about it? When it was Bush in office everyday it's going to $2.00 the World is ending & it's Bush's fault. Ok. So it fine now? WHat a scam infact Obama himself is a scam.
