This will be the main focus of the new Chinese government in the next 10 years, that translates to alot of opportunites for CAT. The government will outline China's new development plans in coming weeks. Also, the Chinese economy is picking up steam and the European debt crisis has stabilized lately, these make CAT's recent guidance look quite conservative and has much room to adjust upward soon.
And now you're a tree hugger? They're where we were 100 years ago. Looks like we survived. Mother Earth is pretty resilient. I don't see us dying from CO2 pollution any time soon. The loonies thought that AC electricity and piped natural gas were "ridiculously" unsafe when first proposed. Today most houses in the US are heated with natural gas and if the power is off for more than a couple hours people howl. We'll survive.
