Yesterday market action just confirms my belief that you can't successfully anticipate daily moves with any certainty. You get a report of a potential bill in the Cyprus(?) legislature that would tax bank deposits and the world get all a twitter. A day later they say the bills been shelved and everything returns to normal. N. Korea broadcasts empty, animated videos of the destruction of Washington and it get TV air time. There are headlines everyday because reporters and news anchors have to fill up papers and news reports with something. Most of it is just noise. Buy good companies with good growth strategies and hold on until the strategies play out. That's usually measured in years not weeks.
