There doesn't seem to be a rational reason for how this stock trades. Are hedge funds pushing it down? Volume is low so SYNA can easily be manipulated. What happens after earnings is anybody's guess. Who sells into an earnings report that's expected to be stellar?
Who sells?? Traders whose computer connection is about a thousand times faster than yours that's who. The little guy can only pick a price point he thinks is good and hang on. Most of these shares are controlled by institutions so if you try to trade in and out that's who your competition is. Me I just bought at what I thought was a good price. I mean this company has about ten bucks in cash on hand too.
