Sleep medicine has become a speciality of its own in many european contries and the growth aspect of the industry is notorious and wellknown to only a rather small population of investors - so far. Like the hearingaid industry, companies of the sleep industry will be bought and M&A will happen - but when and which companies will take part in this process of consolidation? #1 and #2 is a safe bet.RMD is expensive - RESP is affordable... My bet is on RESP
I work in the sleep industry in bizz development. A RESP takeover of RMD will NEVER happen. Sorry to burst your bubble. You want to know which one to own over the other? 95% Of the orders I recieve are getting RMD equipment. I'm not the only one who feels this way. BBB RMD. All the recall did was give us a great price to load up on. See you when we're back in the 50's.
Time is getting closer a (new)take over in the resp care sector. These two pure-play respiratory device companies are serious (only) candidates after Viasys was taken a fortnight ago... and 3.5 B$ is just a blue chip hickup. My bet is JNJ is a very likely bidder.. and RESP is my candidate. Long RESP & RMD
