Said "sbux will do for tea what it did for coffee with its Teavana acquisition. His absolute favorite stock between now and when Teavana deal closes". I am hesitant to post anything Cramer says - he is usually right less than 50%

    • (Bloomberg) -- Teavana says removing organic
reference on Website was housekeeping - who cares if its approved - is Glaucus right.

    • mv3guy, I'm on your side of the trade here but why do you think SBUX used an advisor (aside from Cravath as lawyers). One thing I was concerned about is they did it in-house. I didn't see any mention of SBUX using a buy-side advisor in the background filed in the pseudo-proxy. As a former M&A banker, just b/c they announce doesn't mean it closes. Again, look at my former posts--I'm on your side of this, but I don't think the things you've posted are accurate. GLTA

      • Are you at least hedging your purchases of tea? I just don't understand the logic of buying something that has upside capped at $1.30 (current price $14.20) and downside of at least $4-$5 (and one could make a strong argument the downside is much lower) UNLESS you are VERY, VERY confident the deal closes. And, I just don't understand how one can be that certain. I'm not in any way saying the deal doesn't get done; maybe it does. I just don't see the payoff justifying the risk. As always, good luck....
