I am here also. Saber and I could post each other's messages. Like Saber, I bought at the $1 offer. Have been adding to my holdings in my IRA using my dividends from my other other holdings as well as selling some in the 7's and buying back in the low 5's. I have been a believer since the IPO. Haven't been to a location since the new menu. Stock buy back was stupid ( I smell Jundts) and lack of CFO worries me, but agree they have been through hell and back and have a great future.
I find it hilariously ironic that someone on here is touting a solid management team, when the stock is Nasdaq deficient due to not enough independent board members, and the company does not have a CFO, and hasn't now for 2 months.
Marcus Jundt back on the board, and he has NO CHANCE of being re-elected, as he was voted off the board 2 years ago. No CFO...
Buyout coming...this stock is too ripe for the picking. Great, upscale concept, and it needs a financial backer.
Stock spiking currently for no reason...maybe we get an announcement soon?
Yes I agree the Jundt's are scum. But they are over privileged investors, who have money. I don't see them tearing up a concept they started. A buyout could be on the horizon, and I agree they need an infusion of capitol to expand the business. If they don't get a CFO soon I'd start growing cautious, I will continue to trade this stock and load up on the dips. Kona has a lot of potential and a descent CEO to lead the way. I guess time will tell, I believe newer investors are seeing this potential as well with the uptick in price. I remember this thing averaging 1000 shares traded in one day. Lol
Seems like everyone they appoint to this company is a veteran. Even the vice-president of development has 20 years experience in the restaurant business. I like this new range the stock is trading in, nice leg up from the $5 range. I trade the stock as well, made decent money from 5-6 dollar price. The buyback needed to be done as they are extinguishing the shares. There's too much float out there to make the the shares move.
