Just a heads up, in Texas stores top line sales are not hitting expected numbers, aged merchandise is growing, and morale among the troops is starting to lessen. Not to mention the lack of gold continues to be an issue. Interesting to see how this plays out...

    • After the close of trading 7/24/12.

    • And I thought they said that carrying a disproportionate amount of gold in their pawn balance (90% +) was way too risky due to price volatility? Haha...wait until they are unable to unload all of those electronics and general merchandise! What seems riskier, when you can unload all of your gold within minutes! Gold is the play no matter what! Sun Capital Partners just bought out GoldMax, a gold buying operator with over 200 stores! Do you see the economy improving anytime soon? They need to move in to territories with high populations and ample supply of gold. New York or California, for doesn't matter that the interest rates are lower, especially since we are seeing these kinds of issues develop already. EZ needs a hedge and safety net, and a strong gold play is the answer.
