I ran out of room in my last post. I wanted to add that PER is also getting slammed, maybe in sympathy with SDT because of their association with SD.
CHKR, another royalty trust, has been holding up better, but I sold my last batch of that today because it hit what I thought was a resistance point. I think it could go lower and I would rather have those funds to try to play a bounce in SDT and PER.
The bottomlne is that one needs to stay vigilant. Whether you own Apple or some royalty trust, there are no guarantees. The charts can be helpful in trying to detect the change in trend and either save your profit or get you out before things go from bad to worse.
I will never again buy a high yielder like this. It's always a sign of trouble. Collect a damn dividend and lose all of your capital doing it. I'm out. You have only lost a couple bucks per share. My advise is for you to get out as well. And no, I am not short. Wish I was.
