Duh, don't make it sound more complicated than it actually is. All mergers require these steps and even more. Once the regulatory/conversion approvals are in which should happen by end of Oct at the latest, the other steps (the votes) will take weeks to push through. So we are talking a Q4 closing. Three months is too long to wait for 20% return? Folks selling today must be investing geniuses... or silly retail that got short the market and is now selling SSE to meet a margin call. Wanna bet which one it is?
You are right. I continue to hold a large position, and will do so possibly through closing. People who sell now may have a big profit but if someone has no piece of this action they are missing out on a relatively safe high ROI opportunity.
