    So...

Now US officials are starting to say aloud what we in Israel knew all along and I myself have said numerous times in the past on this board:

    1. The 9-11 disaster is, very sadly, only the beginning and by all means not the end.

    2. Yesterday it was Al-Qaeda. Tomorrow it will be other terrorist groups. Scroll back and checkout what I have said several times about the Hizballah in Lebanon. I said they were just as dangerous if not more dangerous to the US and the world as Al-Qaeda is. Back then, I am sure many dismissed my words while thinking that Israelis who claim so are trying to earn local points in their "own" battle against "their" war on terror. I, and others, tried to explain that there simply is no such thing as "their war against terror" vs. "our war against terror".

    Terror is terror is terror.

Today it hits my backyard, tomorrow it will be in yours.

And here's another prediction from me:

US officials are now putting the Hizballah and the "Egyptian" branch of the Islamic Jihad together with Al-Qaeda on the same list.

In the very near future they will be saying the same about the Tanzim-Fatach-Al-Aqtsa brigades (PLO), about the Hamas, about the "Palestinian" Islamic-Jihad (it's the same movement), the PFLP (2day the son of Achmed Jibril had a little accident in Lebanon, he should be more careful), and about all the other muslim wackos who enjoy the definition of "freedom fighters" or grade B terrorists because they aren't a direct threat to anyone but Israel. This is a temporary situation.

The Europeans are starting to get real nervous from the tens of millions of Muslims on their soil. La-Pen in France, The right-wing in Holland and others are just one sign of how frightened they are of the muslims in their cities.

As these lines are being written, the official European policy is to appease the Arabs. Mainly because they don't want to agrravate the locals. The US is appeasing Saudi Arabia and to some extent Syria as well, for other reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I am scared as hell when I think of the consequences of the picture I am portraying here. Israel will be the 1st to get severely hurt from a wider confrontation. We will probably be gased 1st.

BUT, I am a realist. And I know where we are heading. You too should be mentaly prepared for a very hard time, wherever you live.

If we unite and fight the threat of terror together, we will win.

    • "If we unite and fight the threat of terror together, we will win..."

DSY, I would like to believe these beautifully optomistic words. Maybe I am just too tired, or just getting too old to battle windmills, but I am not so certain anymore that we can win.

On Sunday, May 19, there was an article in the Las Vegas Sun (which I believe was originally printed in the Jerusalem Post on May 7).

The article was written by William J. Bennett, an excerpt from his book - "Why We Fight: Moral Clarity and the War on Terrorism."

The article is worth reading in its entirety, if one can obtain it. Here are a few paragraphs -

"On Sept. 11 Israelis lowered their flags to half staff in empathy with the United States. By contrast, Palestinians in the West Bank were cheering in the streets..."

"Just after the slaughter that took place on Sept. 11, many Israelis said, 'We are all Americans now.'
The truth is, after Sept. 11, we all became Israelis..."

"It should not have been surprising or worthy of condemnation that just after Yasser Arafat attempted to smuggle 50 tons of weapons into his Palestinian Authority, and just as his Fatah-affiliated Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades were perfecting their human-bomb-making capabilities, Israel finally said, 'Enough!'

Israel then went into the territories to root out terrorists, to do what Arafat over the years has refused to do..."

"THE PRESSURE ON ISRAEL TO CEASE THAT OPERATION AMOUNTED TO PERHAPS THE GREATEST BLURRING OF OUR MORAL CLARITY SINCE SEPT.11.
THAT PRESSURE WAS IMPOSED ON ISRAEL TO APPEASE NATIONS SUCH AS SAUDI ARABIA, A REPRESSIVE DICTATORSHIP THAT OWES THE UNITED STATES A GREAT MANY EXPLANATIONS, THAT DESERVES FROM THE UNITED STATES NOTHING..."

DSY, I fear that the moral clarity of some of our leaders is so blurred that by the time they see the TRUTH, if they ever do, it will be too late for all of us!!!

Here is an excerpt from another book I read today -

"The Jews who had survived the inferno of Europe wanted and needed and deserved one thing only: the right to return to Israel and there rebuild their shattered land and lives..."
"At first there was reason to believe that the wanderers would find their homeland ready to receive them. But as month followed weary month and the British Colonial Office threw roadblock after roadblock across their tortured path, Louise's patience grew exhausted..."

"HER SOUL WAS REVOLTED AT THE CALLOUS DUPLICITY WHICH BARRED THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL FROM ITS HOME, WHICH BARTERED JEWISH BLOOD FOR ARABIAN OIL..."
(Legend of Louise, Jewish Opinion Publishing Corporation, New York, 1949...)

DSY, how can there be hope for us?
What has changed in 53 years?
We are still whores to Arab oil!
