Personally I think Bush would rather nuke em' and save further American lives and $$. The children we kill will just be prevented from growing uo into more terrorists and killers anyhow. Then we can bid up stocks of companies that make radioactive protective suits for oil workers to go back in for the rest of the oil
Yes, but his speech is stronger than I would have expected. He is connecting some much needed dots. It isn't speaking jello in regard to terrorists, and he has boldly made a couple of the connections that I made in a previous post. It is the strongest I have heard him speak since 9/11. It is about time! Enough compassionate conservativism. Any hard line against terrorist is good for mags. Connect the dots!
However, a democracy in Iraq is probably pie in the sky. They don't want it; they would rather kill each other. I wish we would take the oil, pay ourselves, and quit spending zillions over there. but he is an idealist, maybe even a tragic hero with a tragic flaw, and his flaw is thinking that Iraqi's think like Westerners, they don't.
