True, lots of small trades, as usual, especially lately, however, any rational buyer of MAGS this quarter, in particular, should have firm hands, if aware of MAGS' long-established practice of not disclosing much, if any, information about new contracts, due to the very nature of the business. I suppose some newbies might be a bit skittish, if they don't understand this about MAGS, but it seems to me that such buyers should represent a small percentage of the total. Following the upcoming earnings report, and over time, owners should develop a greater sense of patience with this stock.
I am very used to "wait wait wait and see" stocks.
Activity this week was very different than the 20 or 30k daily we had of late.
Massive price swings continue, the usual 20c swing on 100 sh, etc.
Regardless of 3Q results, one thing to check on the next CC is what is the winter outlook like. Last year we had big price whack on revenue warning because of winter slowdown, so maybe that's why we drop $2 already in advance.
We are back to where CEO is losing money on his last big buy, so I am sure the incentive is there.
We are going to need a good 3Q report just to get back the last month's drop. Unfortunately, CEO's "stuff we are working on" speech is not pulling much weight. Most investors come to realize that this is just a stock where you can park some money and live for the surprise PR pop days.
Otherwise this stock seems to be mostly a pure short play. Right now the short interest is running at 15 days to cover due to low average volume.
wrong. this is no fund activity going on here. do not read anything into what you think you see. however, as I noted earlier today, volume does have a pulse. that gives me hope. otherwise, this is truly a shit investment.
