I like it and own it. Hommel did a comparison of the silver companies a while back and determined that the cost of the silver in the ground owned by SSRI was around .60/oz. They don't have any active mines except for some partnerships with active miners, one being PAAS. They have basically been acquiring silver properties to mine when the price of silver warrants the investment. Bob Quartermain is the CEO and he gets the silver story and has even bought silver bullion (2M ounces) with some of the company's cash at the urging of stockholders. Total resources include 101M ounces measured, 477M indicated and 409M inferred. IMO the stock price can pop huge with silver price increases. I've traded in and out and held a core position of 6k shares with a cost basis of $11.
