NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Goldcorp (NYSE:GG) has been downgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to sell. The company's weaknesses can be seen in multiple areas, such as its feeble growth in its earnings per share, deteriorating net income, disappointing return on equity, weak operating cash flow and generally disappointing historical performance in the stock itself.

    • Yes, it is trading weak, and The Street would put "buys" on Fed-inflated assets that are trading far-and-above any ration valuation metric; From Tesla to Zillow, the list is long, but when it becomes apparent that "the party is over", there will be a price to pay for this "Fed bubble asset inflation game".

I actually supported the Fed and their efforts in the wake of Lehman Brother and Bear Stearn, but we are way beyond that now; We're in a fairly tale, feel-good, "it's all good", false foundation period. Once things begin to crack a little at the seam (such as the 10-year rising the most it has in recorded history), and once other things come to light, I think you'll see a "flight to safety and real money".

You don't have to be a "gold bug freak" to see what's un-folding, imo. I'm all for things improving and real progress being made, but I'm seeing that we are putting way too much faith in the Fed to "make it all good".

Simply put, the stock Market needs to stand in its own. It's not, and I fear the consequences of this continuing "goosing, gassing and over-effort" to make it all good!
