How can you get into copromoting agreement with a company that is actively developing a drug to compete with yours? If they get theirs approved, which one would you suppose they would try to "promote" more? Can someone explain?
Unless you (shmori)can show me why two different drugs for different indications would be competitive, consider this. Cubist has a sales force contacting med centers and doctors. They can kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak. Optimer can use their marketing people in other areas.
