Would you invest your money where they would put this guy as #1?

He is clearly #2. and it takes 2 people to even get close to the job that a slightly talented controller should have...

    CFO material?

    President material?

    CEO material?

10 years ago an inventory accounting running a Medical Device Company in a troubled market with no relevant experience...with a semi-retired short term low success transition guy training him.

Du your research...guy is an empty suit and a wanna bee. But he thinks he is going to take the helm.

If he is right, the place is not going to be worth more than the land it sits on.

Here is the current VP of Finance's self described experience:

    Accounting Manager-Inventory and Cost

    January 2000 โ€“ June 2002 (2 years 6 months)
I set up the cost accounting department for this fast growing start-up company and was responsible for all aspects of inventory and cost accounting and reporting. I worked closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and contract manufacturers to ensure inventory costs were accurate and inventory risks were minimized.

    Inventory Accounting Manager

    July 1999 โ€“ January 2000 (7 months)
I was responsible for all aspects of inventory and cost accounting for this leading computer systems integrator and VAR.

So this guy goes from and inventory accounting manager and then describes his next position at some division of Siemans as follows:

Director of Finance and Business Unit Controller
Efficient Networks, Inc - A Siemens Company

Privately Held; 10,001+ employees; si; Industrial Automation industry

    May 2002 โ€“ June 2004 (2 years 2 months)

As the top finance executive for the Siemens consumer broadband business unit (renamed Siemens Subscriber Networks later), I partnered with the BU general manager and the management team to restructure and turn around this $215M business in two years amid a fiercely competitive environment. I championed hardware platform consolidation, strategic partnerships, outsourcing and cost reduction. I indirectly managed the shared service SCM organization and directly negotiated with strategic vendors to reduce product costs and improve margin.

Does this sound like top tier experience?
