Why the big drop? Because you got suckered. Perhaps you should look at profit-loss statements before buying. When a company goes from a large fiscal year profit to a large last fiscal year loss then maybe you should suspect some creative accounting in the past.
greyfoxrunnin love your short scare tactics. You think if what you say was true people and institutions would have been buying this up for many months now? You think you are so smart you know more than institutions?
Read my fib retracement post. It seems to me this stock is "carving" out a new higher price channel direction and when that does there's typically a pullback of this nature. I may be wrong but that's but what I'm seeing
Well - it's up about 500% over the last 12 months. Profit taking by those who choose it early. This was a $10 stock before 2008 hit. It was a $15-20 stock before that. Financials are better. Management is cleaner. Immigration will get fixed. Hispanic population grew 40% from 2000 - 2010 and that's without counting the undocumented. The population will only grow more, and more importantly, their disposable income will grow as well. My core belief is an acquisition could be in the midst. Media companies are consolidating and with NBC having it's Latino channel, ABC, FOX and CBS may feel the pressure to catch up. Buying EVC would be a quick way to do it. Just sayin'.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Being up over 12 months doesn't prove that a stock is a good investment. It only proves that lots of people bought into a pump.Considering that tangible assets are dropping, total assets have dropped year by year and change in cash and assets has dropped considerable all seem to be negatives in my opinion. Never chase a stock. Seeing others buying something isn't a valuable buy signal.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
That volatility has been the pattern of the last several months.
The earnings call on Aug 1st will be exceedingly upbeat given the recent refi details and strength of core growth, plus many catalysts.
EVC's financial position and outlook is far better than it was back in 2007.
Also Remember EVC will pay no income taxes on cash flow for the foreseeable future. All flows to net income & dividends.
Thought it would regain traction around $7, but continues to slide down a cliff.
HEY, YOU'RE SPOILED ! You can't keep breaking the 52wk high everyday day. I bet you didn't even know EVC broke the 52wk high AGAIN TODAY ! ($7.27).
Go get a beer or something, you can afford it !
