im a huge FXP bull but just sold out after buying in it at $68 for the last month, was going to avg down under $58 but it never got there so today I took the chance to sell it at $71, im hoping it drops back down but knowing my luck it will run to 75+ and then eventually take off to 100 like it has the last 2 times I have sold around this area, still holding onto to EEV though. Any drop back to the mid 60's and buying, buying, buying.....
oh, well yea, houses are cheaper than in NYC, but i am sure you get paid less too! And you can't get around without a car.
Plus, that 99% humidity makes it a b*tch to walk outside in a suit.
If you are thinking about moving to ATL, you should come visit your friends in august, and in april (we have pollen count for 1-3 wks that is literally off the scale).
Too many heineken for me last night too, got some friends who came up from Atlanta to vist, they were originally New Yorkers, but moved down there a few years ago, they are trying to talk me into moving down there, keep telling me how cheap the houses are over there.
I like GA too, looking to get back into it, I am not counting on the merger, but I like it is potentials, read up the story on their CEO and I really like what I see, this guy is a bussiness genius.
On FXP, I am picking up a few more shares today, kind of wish I had waited before jumping in yesterday.
Yes still holding GA....I think it is a solid spec play. A merger is only one possibility. I think on its own, it will be what Nintendo became in the late 80's except on the internet. People are gett'n lazier and have way to much time on their hands. I think a lot of US companies will use their site as an advertising venue
