Just a thought, if the company is OK with .50 cents

as a 1 year price target, what's that saying? Shouldn't big things ahead call for a bigger price than that? And this JUST came out, fresh from talking with management? And .50 cents is STILL all they're looking at?? For the next 1 year??

I'm happy with $.50 for now, even though that's been the target for sometime now. Let's not forget, analysts have their reputation to think about also. It wouldn't be prudent on their part for Brean, Zacks or whomever to set a price target of, let's say, $1, know that this is still a small cap. with some risk involved. MDLAND~

    • Let's not overthink this. The company is clearly trying to raise a significant amount of money to reduce their reliance on the dribs and drabs from LPC. Paying for research seems a little desperate, but ok, whatever. Most likely they are being compensated with equity anyway so no cash is going out the door.

In the LONG term, if they are able to raise a decent amount of $ now, it should be a good thing. However, the short term issue is that the stock will very likely trade back down into the teens, UNLESS there is substantive news out (and no, the earnings release which has already been pre-announced, and more paid "research" does not count)
