The bubble could be a “slight negative” for Cypress Semiconductor (CY), and Texas Instruments (TXN), he writes.
I would note that TI said last night on its mid-quarter conference call with analysts that the tablet market appears at the moment to be “strong.”
Hey guys, CY went up like a rocket and this is just some back filling. I hope it drops to $17 so I can load up some more. This company is a big winer in the long and medium run
I bought in at $23.05 and am lossing $1K for every $1 drop. It sucks....so what sell now and wonder why you didn't hold on?
I'm holding with the only regret that I didnt have it in cash to buy now at these lower $$.
I'll sell when it hits $31.00 later this year. than all this will just be a blip on the radar.
You asked: "What is up with CY? dropping like a brick lately"
CY is undermanaged; over-bought; arogant; and could easily return to single digits before 2009 ends.
Your Mayor from the Pink Flamingo.
CBS/cbs
IS THAT 2009 AD OR BC?
I'm wondering the same thing. But tech is weak recently so CY is probably just moving down with the market. Also, CY has had a huge run the last two years, so a pause or pullback would probably just be healthy and normal. $20 looks like first support. This is the area from both Jan and Feb. If $20 doesn't hold, it could easily come down to $18. Let's hope it will stop at $20.
If the move down was about the business I'd be concerned, but it isn't. It's about profit taking, oil, and today a (ignorant) downgrade of the semi sector.
