Kramer has killed me on CY

Actually, at this time I think most all Tech stocks are way, way overbought--and are just beginning to feel the "pain" of the consumer.

The US "consumer is under TERRIFIC FINANCIAL STRESS and it is NOT getting better--only WORSE.

As I have said many times--You cannot put a "touchy-majiga-thingy" on the table and eat it!!!

I think Banks and Homebuilders are the place to be in the coming years---! They got hurt the worst in the downdraft!!!

I would prefer ATML over CY---BUT, neither is going to do much for the next several years!

    • I prefer CY to ATML, If you had to choose one at this juncture. ATML has a much bigger head wind re Tablets. Their over all rev in touch for tablets vs CY was 6 times, and no one has had any sell through on Tablets. At this point it is all about the IPad.
In my opinion CY will have some good design wins the remainder of the year. But I don't necessarily see ATML and Synaptics as CYs biggest competitor.
I see Apple, since they continue to grow share and every phone or I Pad is one phone away from CY.
Don't get me wrong, I haven't sold any of my shares (ave 15.21) I learned a long time ago when a company goes thru a pre- announced qtr they bounce back. The problem now is the market and especially the NAZ is crap.
The market as well as stocks gets over bought ( 1st qtr) and gets over sold hopefully soon. But one never knows do we !

    • time to back the truck up...the great contrarian has spoken...look for a obama rally...lead by dropping oil prices...$$$ to be made
