according to CNBC today and look at BTGC. WHat a piece of shi_! And BTGC never get's it's name mentioned anymore. I've been sitting long @ $16 1/4 on this pig for going 4 years and really fed up.
Kg - on reflection I agree that I was over the top in my comments in earlier posts and I aplogize to you for that. From your other posts you don't appear to me to be a whiner (I do hate whiners & jumped to the wrong conclusion!)but rather a frustrated shareholder. BTW I never cheerlead a stock just give opinions negative or positive as I see it. Anyway good luck with BTGC and your other investments
You are probably correct. I do recall a period of a few days within the last year & a half where btgc jumped above the 16 level. However, it was only for a few days, peaked and then tanked to new lows very quickly. All happened so quickly, didn't have time to pull the plug with any confidence. So, I sit and hold.
If for some reason anyone is still suspicious, you can view BTGC's quote history daily, weekly, monthly & yearly for last 4 years via Yahoo - Porfiles. You will conclude there has been very little opportunity to get out of BTGC at the $16 level during this period.
I let your last post/response go. This one I won't. You are apparently intimidated by another BTGC longtime shareholder that has bad news to share about this beloved stock. THus, you resort to trying to discredit me and/or pick fights on message boards. Who is the 'baby' here? Regarding spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc., - only amateurs worry about anything other than content on message boards - nice try. As far as "whining" goes, well, I think 4 years holding my 3000 shrs of BTGC qualifies me as a long term patient shareholder. The fact that I'm losing patience with this stock does and have recently shared some infrequent negative sentiment does not negate that.
You on the other hand, like many on these boards, see any negative comments as a threat and result in lashing out as you are doing. You're nothing more than a cheerleader and it's you my good friend that "whine". Like other amateur message boardheads, you suffer from thinking that you have some significant influence on the price movement of the stock by trying to gain power/influence on a message board.
The bottom line - I bought 3000 shrs BTGC over 3 1/2 years ago price of 16 1/4 and it hasn't come near that since. I'm still holding and will until I see a profit. Now, that's fact and worth bitching about and I will any dam time I want to on this board - so get used to it. Not that I spend that much time here anymore anyway - what's the point, stock's not going anywhere and I run into arrogant assholes like you.
Do you think that you are the only person to have lost money on a stock? Stop whining and blaming the stock. Take responsibility for your own stock buying decisions or go back to CD's and index funds where you belong

Blame only yourself ... you could have sold at $21 just 10 months ago which would be almost 30% gain. I get so tired of people who bitch when a stock declines.
OK.... So if the biotech sector was up 28% since December, and lets say the approximate price since December of BTGC was $6.5. For simplicity lets take todays price as $9.5, then thats a gain of approximately 32% (if my calculations are wrong, somebody stop me)
I realize that this stock has had its ups and downs, but the performance against the sector [especially since December]I believe has been good.
Where the hell are you coming from on this? What, do you expect it to jump 300% in one month??
