It sure can be a sick joke but if a person has
the time and inclination to study market maker
maneuvers, he can either follow along with them or exploit
them for decent daily gains. I have watched this stock
every day on level 2, all day, for over a year now and
I've gotten to where I can see up and down moves
(especially down ones) coming well before they happen by the
positions of the various market makers.
I always
feel sorry for daytraders who jump into this stock,
long or short, because of news, or it's on the
percentage gainer or loser list. They almost always end up
bailing at a loss. The market makers really control this
stock, although it's been getting away from them a
little more lately :)
