What possible motivation could one have to sell shares for $3.03 and $3.04? Why are so many shares being dumped at these prices? There doesn't seem to be a profit motive behind the selling of such cheap shares, but moreso an a continued attack on the integrity of the investment. It's insulting, to say the least!
Well, besides margin calls on RBY falling below minium, there will also be RBY selling due to margin calls on their other positions. Most investment managers will sell stock that they do not percieve as moving up in th eshort term, holding those they hope will rebound. RBY as an exploration play offers no immediate lift.
Goldbugs buy at these prices, but there are so few of us, and so many of them we can't push the price around like they can and do, but that will pass as well.
