but haven't followed RBY closely for years and trying to catch up a bit. I'm looking at a statement from a recent press release that says, "16,000 metres of expansion drilling outside of current resource planned by end of September, 2012" located here: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/shareholders-invited-attend-rubicon-agm-123000006.html and wondering if anyone has insight -- or would like to speculate as to implications. TIA for any comments :)
Well, there is a defined F2 that goes about 1200 meters deep and about 300 meters wide and about 1100 meters long. That's basically what they called the 9X box and referred to in a lot of presentations, etc. The thing is they have git gold outside that box and below that box. So, what they are saying is that they are going to do 16Km of drilling on targets outside what is F2 proper. They keep hitting gold deeper and along greater extents both laterally and diagonally in reference to the 9x box. They should be able to expand the scope of the deposit some with this drilling. And they are probably going to use some of the drill results from the 16Km of drilling during their evaluation of whether to take the shaft deeper than the 610 meters currently in the plan.
