    • “The information in this report is taken from sources believed to be reliable; however, the Commodity Exchange, Inc. disclaims all liability whatsoever with regard to its accuracy or completeness. This report is produced for information purposes only.”

This paragraph is stating that the Comex is taking what I would call wide latitude in their "liability of its accuracy or completeness" regarding "the Information that is taken from sources".

My question is WHO is the "sources" providing the information that is "believed to be reliable"?

      Anyone?

      Thank you.

    • That's not an admission that the reports are fraudulent. It's a disclaimer. Fraud is something that is established by a guilty plea or by conviction in a court of law. That said, anyone who believes the reports should contact me about some land I have for sale on Mars.

    • lonely,
Dave (Kranzler) from Denver discovered that the CME Group added this disclaimer to its Warehouse Inventory Report yesterday. One has to wonder why the Comex lawyers found it necessary to append this at this time.

We have bullion banks failing to deliver on allocated gold accounts, the HKMEX shutting down and forcing cash settlements, and now the Comex disclaiming accuracy of its Metal Depository Statistics. WTH?

"How would like to get your bank statement in the mail from JP Morgan or Bank of America and see this disclaimer added at the bottom:

"The information in this account statement is taken from sources believed to be reliable; however, JP Morgan Chase & Co. disclaims all liability whatsoever with regard to its accuracy or completeness. This account statement is produced for information purposes only."
How would feel about that? "
