Record earnings for SILC with more to come

Very strong hints towards new records in Q4. Looking at inventory and comments, I expect 12.5 to 13.0 MM Q4 and EPS of $.44-.50 During Conf.Call he also strongly suggested 1 or 2 more Design Wins are very close in the External bypass biz and the Intelligent card biz.. Furthermore, they intimated an inflection point in SETAC business, where they are finding it easier to convert pipeline activity in SETAC to move to DW and production orders. Stock should be 22 - 23 before year end and next year if general growth rates can increase, company can earn near the $2.00 mark or more.

    • I won't guess at the share price because the overall market might in bad shape. Forget it if the fiscal cliff is not resolved by year end, stocks will head south.

Fundamentally, I agree with the rest of your post. I think your rev is reasonable, EPS might be a lttle high in terms of the GAAP numbers associated with that revenue range. I'd think more like $.41-$.45 EPS.

      • Being Q4 you're probably right about EPS being a tad lower as they tend to have some bonus money in the Q. A penny or two also will depend on the currency exchange during the Q, but I'll take a $.45 quarter, which would put them at $1.48 for 2012, which is ahead of analysts avg. estimate for 2013 !!. If SILC has 25% revenue growth in 2013 earnings could well be north of $2.00. I'm expecting a flury of DW activity in next 2 quarters which will fuel faster growth with of course the winds of the macro backdrop effecting one way or another. Stock is going higher regardless, just a matter of degrees.
