They paid me in Krone
Choicetrade, slow in paying the dividend, finally gave it to me today in krone. Now they are asking for my approval to convert the krone into dollars. Has anyone experienced similar trouble or received less than the prescribed dividend because of currency rates?

They paid me with pirate treasure. Last dividend date I found an old chest full of gold coins and rubies outside my door. I called their corporate office and demanded to speak with the CFO. Reluctantly they connected me with him. He said he knew nothing of this practice but was able to describe the contents!

I use TDAmeritrade and I get 100% of the dividend every time. I receive the divi in dollars. I have owned GO for a few years.

Roger Melan: You said TDAmeritrade handled your trade without any trouble and you get your dividends w/o any problems. You also said you have been in this stock a couple of years and the div.'s have been good to you. I saw the div. history report and it looks like they have stayed around 20%+-. Do you rely only on Yhoo for your souirce of information? Was there any adjustments for the $ on the div? How much did you receive per share? Was it just a simple div. that you reported for tax purposes or is it in your IRA? Do you get an annual report? Any info would be appreciated.

I use Etrade and just bought GO about a month ago and have been adding since. I received the full divy plus a few dollars and change. It must have something to do with the conversion. I got it about 3 business days after the posted date. I too am very bullish on this company mainly because JF runs the show, is a genius in the shipping world and puts his own money where his companies are. Earnings are really starting to ramp up. I'm hopping it's another FRO in the early days. The quarterly reports are very similar to FRO, no coincidence I'm sure.
