    52 Million Shares

I looked at the last 2 days in Oslo & saw that 52+ million shares traded. This is a huge jump in volume & I suspect it is an indicator that things are getting much better.

My take on the divy...NO for this quarter. However, I think we might get a few pennies next quarter & if things continue to improve higher dividends.

From the volume action it looks like Golden has survived a brutal business climate. In 2 years maybe $5-6 again, I hope, I hope!

    • I think you are partially correct. My guess is that we will see a dividend around 10 - 25 cents a share and the stock will hit $1.30 by the end of the month.

By the end of June I expect we will be pushing $3 a share and the dividend will start to grow over the rest of the year. In either case, my purchases are still underwater.

      • The volume of shares indicates something is up. Back in Aug/Sept there was a comment that Golden could maintain a $.60/qtr divy but that was before a few deals went sour.

If the BDI moves up a little more & holds then I think we could see $.60/yr. Big difference but still a nice return. I also think that $3 is possible within 2 years.

    • Good to see someone optimistic here.
I'm also thinking small dividend later this year. GO needs to get all financing arranged for newbuild program, which given improvement in credit market is likely soon.
