It just bought a little more at $1.36. My last purchase was $1.35. Wish I had bought when it was way down in the cellar but was too afraid to and didn't have any cash to do it with. That is a far cry from when I first bought on 5/7/08 at $7.10 and the divy was $.55 a share. Like the rest of us, its going to be a long haul to get out of this one.
Merry Christmas everyone and lets hope for a prosperous New Year,
So, you've been in the ADRs for a bit. Do you happen to know which broker or MM is the "custodian" of the ADRs? Birgitte at GO does not know who is creating the pink sheet market. Thanks for your time.
Well done Barb. We've been in this for awhile haven't we? Unfortunately one of my first couple purchases was above $7 too. I've been been buying more and more over the past couple years averaging down. I've got my cost basis all the way down to $1.96 now. Considering the dividends I've received, both past and the more recent ones, I'm probably about even.
I think this is still a GREAT entry point. You're getting about a 15% divy while we wait for the world economy to recover. Combine that with the VLCCF stock that GDOCF has obtained, the cash from the ships they sold, the paydown of debt, and I think we're in a good position for at least a minimum $0.05/quarter which should only grow over time.
