Remember Hanes likes to make a big deal about the layoffs because the higher ups (the good old boys group) know that whenever they go through layoffs the stock goes up. They've done their 10% and 20% group this will be what they call their 30% group of people. The last layoff got rid of a LOT of people with a great deal of experience and left a lot of people, especially in the supply chain area who are really pretty inexperienced.
Will the layoffs help boost the stock? Also what leads you to believe they will occur? Any information of substance? and if you think these layoffs are more likely to occur in the first half or second half of the year? I own and I'm holding.
