Expecting a similar result this ER due to various factors including the warm weather of recent months which has been driving retail stocks to repeated new highs. Also expecting a much over due stock split. Should continue to make new highs as earnings season gets underway in next couple of weeks.
Have you not read the news from yesterday's NY Times and similiar artivles in the WSJ? By earnings day May 2, 2012, MA will be much lower because their numbers, in a sense, have already been reported in yesterday's news. Seriously, read those articles objectively and decide if you want to hold credit card companies? Things tae years to gradually go up but when they fall it's fast and hard. Be smart and be objective not emotional.
DO you know anything about credit card transactions and credit card debt.MA/VISA make money on transactions not on debt. That's for the issuers of the cards. Ofcourse it can be argued that less usage will lead to less transactions, but that's too far fetched. credit card Debts are one time things on credit transactions. This can still run high but I guess a pull back is on the cards given the market conditions, but long run, its got a long way to go.
