Fiscal Cliff and other unnecessary worries...

the first thing that the media would like to frighten you with is the fiscal cliff. the fiscal cliff is merely the latest fraud concocted to frighten idiots out of good stocks so they can be scooped up by the wealthy perpetrators. the fiscal cliff isn't going to happen because wealthy republicans know they will lose more from a recession than from small additional taxation. therefore they will tell their servants and lackeys in congress to agree to higher tax rates although i expect them to do their best to drag out the agreement and frighten prices down for as long as they can... it was game over for phase one of that gambit about a week ago..

the second thing we are supposed to be frightened of is that dividend stocks will no longer be wanted if they are taxed at higher rates... well, in case you haven't noticed, income investors have no place else to go so you can expect good high dividend symbols like PSEC to go right back up where they came from.

the third thing the institutions and media would like you to be frightened of is collecting divs, for fear that you will collect ten cents and then lose 50 cents in a post div sell-off. that is entirely possible in PSEC... and will probably last somewhere from ten minutes to a day and a half.... big deal! i suggest you buy it... the big institutional buyers will be doing just that and then push the price up further just to rub it in for those who got the jitters and sold cheap.
