this hit a low of 14.05 on july 3rd the day I said a great time to add, it is now at 17.66. You would have done very well so far country to the naysayers to this reply. I still see it easily going to mid 18 region and possible 19 before stabilizing out. then you can collect the excellent distribution which is to a large part tax free out side of your IRA
" The day I said a great time to add" that's funny, your need to feel correct in your calls is obvious. So why did you buy it in huge amounts with your massive wealth over 18? Are you 12 or just have the mental needs of a 12 year old. Even when you're wrong, which is all the time, you think your right.
the old saying buy when the blood is in the street and others are selling especially when the reason is of no consequence as was the case here. CAPTain just got blown out with his stop losses, BIG MISTAKE.
Caution: Don't be a yield chaser on these - they will get hurt - look at LINE/LNCO - and know to stay away from the Upstream MLP's - that 12% yield for a year can go away in 1 trading day - LNCO, BBEP, QRE, EVEP & VNR - have all been sold on my 10% stop loss orders in the last 2 weeks. There will be a time to buy but not until after the SEC is done looking at the dust in the corners of the ledgers.

BBEP is definitely getting hurt being associated with what ails LINE accounting wise. Also there is perhaps an effort by the shorts to hurt BBEP in raising money to support their newest acquisition candidate by crushing the price short term. Not a bad speculative bet though to be long. Also QRE is being sold down, VNR also to a lesser extent.
I guess depends on the MLPs one has purchased for an IRA, but it takes a lot for UBTI to get over the magical $1000 amount any given tax year. Still, better to hold MLP in a taxable account because they are structured to defer taxes, that is the whole point of owning an MLP. I buy them for my IRA or Roth here and there but only for a trade, never a hold.
