This is really strange. What is there to gain by starting a new conversation every time the price goes up or down by 10 cents? This is a b-i-o-t-e-c-h stock. There are really only three things that are worth discussing when they happen, or speculating on before they happen:
1) The potential for a buyout
2) Progress of tedizolid to approval
3) Updates on the rest of the pipeline
Those will all cause multi-dollar fluctuations, making this day-to-day "Oh no, $7.70! Yes, $7.95!" conversation that runs to ad nauseum seem pointless. Obviously anyone can comment on what they want, but surely there are more interesting discussions to be had then over-analyzing every 1% fluctuation. When the price inevitably goes to the high 'teens, will any of you really care where it was sitting pre-catalyst?
You make excellent points regarding fundamentals being the ultimate driver here. However, technical signals may sometimes help anticipate forthcoming developments. Today's price and volume action (which I noted in a separate topic) are quite positive.
LOLOL, some are a little nervous. Maybe they put the rent money in, I don't know. I agree, posting on 5 or 10 cent swings is sort of fruitless, If he knew it was going to happen, then he could sell for $8 and buy back for $7.90. We are moving up, hence my comment on the "flop" leading to a full house (texas Hod 'em),
