NEW YORK, March 3 (Reuters) - Jim Cramer, host of CNBC's "Mad Money," has earned a reputation for moving stocks with his recommendations. Cramer will recommend a stock on the show in various ways, and Mike McGowan of Florida tracks the picks. McGowan, who says he spent a career on Wall Street, follows Cramer's picks through his Web site (http://www.yourmoneywatch.com). McGowan says from July 28 through Thursday, Cramer's total portfolio of stock picks was up 7.57 percent. By comparison, the Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 3.65 percent in that time.
