getreal4 is right... Firstly the stock has no options so there are no shorts in the stock just other shareholders like you selling IMO. The chart break also suggests that the stock could even see fresh 52-week lows below $2 and then some, esp. if the general market continues dropping.
If you take a look at a monthly chart for BIOF or any other alternative energy stock (for example TAN - the solar ETF) you will see that this one was designed to put the hurt on investors who continue not to be able to differentiate between the winning alternative energy trend and the surprisingly losing stock side of the equation.
BIOF is just gonna continue disappointing and losing you money... Sorry!
Of course it's hard to be rational on something you already own - hence the predicament.
I got tired of watching my stocks go down and now use :m:u:a:t:h:e: . :c:o:m: (without the colons) for amazing breakouts.
