Norton Rated Worst of the Worst Security!!!

Read the findings again before you scream faulty testing.

Seems the tests show Norton is barely one step above a low picket fence when it comes to security.

    • I'd suggest you read them again - not only is this "default testing", as already pointed out, but specifically this is "leak testing" - which is something you can configure Norton to do, but is not it's main purpose.

Comparing a dedicated firewall product like ZoneAlarm to a general security suite like Norton is daft - ZoneAlarm is rubbish at virus detection, but a great firewall, so I use both (or at least, I did before giving up Windows completely and switching to virus-free Ubuntu).

First part of the tests are on the firewalls default settings.
If the firewall did poorly, like Norton, the settings are raised to its highest security settings, and those tests are shown with a blue checkmark. Here Norton did barely better than just using Windows Firewall.

Why would you use two firewalls?

Everyone knows you don't use two firewalls...and why would you feel you need two firewalls if you're were already using Norton???
