    • Thanks - imagine, I'm going from divorce court
directly to the interview of my life. Boy, timing

I'll be out of pocket today, but as Fund has pointed
out that may not be such a bad thing these days. I'll
catch up on the action after the market

Thanks again for you kind message.

    • Thanks for the message and thoughts. Now, if you can do anything about the stock ???????????

    • i went back to last year and looked at the price
action on 30 internet stocks and noticed a similiar
pattern to what we are seeing this year. most all of the
ones i looked at traded significantly higher in march
and april, traded lower for most of may, reached a
selling climax by the end of may, then took off
june. see it for yourself. i hope history is repeating
itself as it so often does. among others i looked at
cdnw, cnet, lcos, rnwk, cmgi, seek, xcit, dclk, exds, spln, elnk, mspg. i also remember hearing stuff like "bubble has
burst", "game over", etc. looks to me like we are setting
up for one great buying opportunity. good luck all.

    • it's part of life that really shakes us to the core. Know that you're in our thoughts.

    • through the trama of finalizing the end of your marriage.
      God's peace.

    • I dig - time for another beer.

    • I hope you are more right about being long on VDAT than you're choice of colleges to root for. =)

Best of luck to you as well, and go Trojans ...

      Fight on,

    • Currently all businesses involved with the
internet are classified in this segment by Wall Street and
the investing public. Fact is most businesses are now
or will be turning to the internet for lets say a
business make over. Take First Union today. They are going
to write down 550 million to transition themselves
to an internet bank and have 5 million customers by
2002. This is unbelivable, as FTU has been on a bricks
and mortar buying spree for the last 3 years. Now to
      all of a sudden change 360 degree's and warn 3 & 4th
quarters as well as 99 and 2000 revenues will be impacted
      because of internet stratagies.

      WEOOOOO !!!

    • You posted <<When I said negative things
about VDAT a week ago, everyone literally said I was an
      asshole. >>

      I don't believe I ever said that
literally or even implied it, even if I thought it. I
ignored you early on because you said nothing useful (at
least that I saw), and I reacted to you later because
you said some stuff I agreed with. I think I've
researched some of the issues you raised in enough detail
(over a period of more than three years) to be able to
validly ignore your five-minute analysis of the same
issues, and I have done so. Many of your concerns have
been addressed in depth in many prior posts on this
board going back to December and earlier. You don't
have to agree with the conclusions, but it's hard to
take you too seriously when you don't seem to have
made yourself aware of some basic facts. That doesn't
mean you can't share useful opinions, as you have, but
don't expect every one of your posts to be acknowledged
as useful, particularly when you display ignorance
      about the company.

      While there are some
cheerleaders here there are also many serious investors who
listen to all reasoned argument. When the stock price
runs up, the ratio of the former to the latter
unfortunately increases. But go back and look at the long-term
posters here and on Raging Bull and I don't think you'll
see much uncritical cheerleading (I can think of one
      or two exceptions).

      As for margining, happy
to answer that one. All of my VDAT with the
exception of a small amount of trading stock was purchased
before VDAT was marginable, and my combined average cost
basis on the stock and warrants is about $2. That
should answer your question. I've also posted numerous
times that purchasing stocks like this on margin would,
for most investors, be a bad move.

    • I feel the same way. I appreciate your response and I hope you are right.

Personally I am a BRUIN fan.
