It doesn't take a genius to figure out that usage is dropping and the fad is done. I used to use Groupon all the time. In the last 2 years I purchased 51 groupons, mostly restaurants. And why should I ever go back and pay full price when there is always a new restaurant I can try at 50% off??? I think the restaurants running the groupons figured they can't make money either... Well the scheme has come to an end, there are rarely any good groupons anymore, unless teeth whitening, or something of that sort is what you are looking for...
Problem is I can't even short this stock, no shares available to borrow. It's all shorted out at my broker. Have to buy puts, they are expensive, but that is the only way to make money on this.
"Have to buy puts,......"
If you are able to do spreads, then you can cut the cost of buying the put you want by selling one at a lower strike. You do lose some of the upside if the stock really tanks, but you don't have to put up the amount of capital that straight puts would require.
