Compare is revenues, P/E, PEG, Forward P/E to LNKD.
GRPN fair value to LNKD is approx. $70
Also most analysts were bullish on the stock after last Q report. Unlike PCLN, AAPL and others stocks with positive analyst comments, GRPN has not moved up rather it moved down significantly. I think this is an opportunity. If you missed PCLN, AAPL moves in the last 2 months, then GRPN offers hope for a significant move up. All we need is GRPN to say that they are on track to be profitable in Q1!.

By all metrics, GRPN is looking a lot better than LNKD.
Revisit this thread on April 20th and see where GRPN is trading (you'll be amazed)

GRPN has defended its number 1 position despite competition from big names (google, FB, amazon, etc.)
Fact is GRPN is the leader in LOCAL space and there is no one who even comes up close.
I think GRPN is headed to much higher levels from here once the SHORTS are fried in the pan.
BTW - I don't care if my April OTM options expire worthless. I am betting that they will make a bundle of money like my Feb $25 calls which I sold prior to earnings release for a 2400% gain!

Groupon Inc (GRPN) is a good play on migration of local commerce to online channels and growth in usage of mobile and apps. Groupon is a category leader in the online daily deal and social commerce market. A lot of investors are negative on Groupon, citing reasons of increasing competition in the local deals space. But the fact remains that group on has defended its position really well and LivingSocial, its nearest competitor, is one-sixth of its size.
I believe investor concerns are misplaced and Groupon's business is more defensive than what most investors think. Some of the barriers to entry in the business include a large sales force requirement, merchant relationships, subscriber base, accumulated data and technology. Groupon's proven merchant ROI and ability to continually save consumers money adds to its brand. Going forward, I believe some of the concerns on Groupon's business will ease as more of its competitors leave the space, and Groupon's financials improve as it sees margin expansion due to decreased marketing spend and SG&A leverage.
dude, c'mon... get a grip, put down the bong, and realize that LNKD has a better biz model, very little churn/turnover among its customers, and is a much needed resource considering how tight the labor market is currently. GRPN has none of those attributes.
In other words, you are comparing apples to oranges, or in GRPN's case apples to LEMONS lmfao... GRPN is worth about $1B. That's it.
SO...Unless GRPN shares experience a MAMMOTH short-squeeze, your APRIL calls, regardless of the strike, are a losing bet imo. Are you expecting "good news" or something? I'm not.
