But it was good news for a racetrack owner in the area that has been quietly planning a major expansion. Empire Resorts Inc., which owns and operates the Monticello Casino & Raceway about 90 miles from New York, is asking state legislators for help in financing a $400 million upgrade of its existing harness-racing facility.

Looks like the same old story for NYNY. They always have a plan "B".
Plan "B" of course is the big renovation into an Amusement Park type Theme Park like Wolf Mountain.
Those that are familiar with NYNY, this is not the first time they had an alternate plan. I guess it's here we go again. Guess if you like the stock you can still pick up cheap shares. (not for me IMHO)
