Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Message Board

Probability of success and risk reward are both heavily in our favor.

Point 1...While comments have been made that a very low 10% success rate for P2 trials in biotech are the norm, those statistics are meaningless here. A moron can understand by watching drug commercials that many approved drugs have horrible side effects, many of which are lethal. Inovio vaccines/ therapies are not drugs, and have zero side effects. We also enjoy best in class efficacy. For those reasons, I put our probability of successful P2 for HPV at about 95%. The odds just don't get any better than that.

Point 2...What other biotech has as low a valuation and a pipeline the size of Mt Everest? Again, with the 95% probability of success, and the validation of our entire pipeline looming, I can't think of a single biotech out there that even approaches our upside. The risk / reward is astounding. I can show more than a few examples of biotechs with a single therapy that made it through P2 and shot up 500%. My principle example is ICPT with a therapy for cirrhosis of the liver. Ino is doing Cancer, HIV and a whole host of diseases that medical science has been dreaming about curing for hundreds of years.

Can it all go south.....Of course. I wouldn't bet on it though. You don't want to be on the sideline for this one folks! All JMHO.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
