What do you expect at 2pm on Thurs. in the discretionary-category items side? Obviously there are a lot more customers in the week-end! But, I hope man this does not crash for the overall benefit of the society. But, TGT is facing headwinds from both sides at this point IMHO -- WMT and AMZN are bent-upon holding them in liquid-oxygen so to say-- oxygen will not let it die-out, but, the liquid-state will not make it breath comfortably. We all know about lackluster Feb sales in retail. WMT is squeezing them on lower-side all over US -- high-volume/low-margin category and AMZN is coming at them top-heavy -- they can't hope to match the scale/convenience/cheapness of AMZN's online experience, period. So, what do they do? Like a toothpaste, they emerge out and try to expand/escape North to Canada... but that's a minuscule mkt at this point, compared to home-front. And the pps is extremely overbought, not much moola/inclination left amongst potential-buyers to drive it much higher, if at all. Path of least resistance may soon be established on the down-slide now, I'm afraid. I hope it goes to 70-75... but the probability looks very low at this juncture.
