Accounts of the lawsuit mentioned something I don't recall seeing before " a great amount of assets that did not exist ". What assets were those ? Are thieves claiming they can't be prosecuted for stealing something which never existed ? That would be a new wrinkle in the suit.
the real issue to me is whether there is a functioning collection of assets such as the universities and the internet service operating under the ownership of the entity ChinaCast Education Corporation.and what is there income as tuition quarters/semesters have come and gone....so where are we with t he Chinese government's legal system. I had thought that the CHOPs had been turned over to the new board and that Ron Chan and the VP were being prosecuted...that seems to be almost a year ago....There is not investor relations contact and the only name I know is Ned Sherwood...do you have any direct source to contact?
Ron Chan in his open letter to shareholders apparently alleged Ned Sherwood favored withholding information from the public so shares could be purchased on more favorable terms. I have no way of knowing if this is true but if it was true then that might explain the dearth of information from CAST
