Why would this company remove the VP of Marketing at a time when marketing is needed most. Also, why have a high level HR person for a company this small? Keep high pay HR person and remove marketing????
They don't need marketing, they need sales. Their old approach, using dedicated salesmen has never worked, and probably never will. Usually, the only people who can effectively market professional services are those providing the services. The question should be asked of the "sales" force, how many contracts have you signed in the last year.
