I am going to hold this SOB until hell freezes over. I do not even believe it is a risky play at this price, so I am going to hold it and take the dividend for 10 years to get my money back if I have to. What I will NOT do is sell at a loss, as this is undervalued by nay measurement. I am lucky to be in at an average of 5.45, so this will not bk me, and I still think I will win. I also think this will end the day in the green, buy lately I have miscalled this baby every time, as the selling does not make sense to me. Of course I ALSO believe that sandra bullock is going to join me for cocktails this evening, but THAT is an entirely different fantasy.
Right on ,,after exdiv date of 26th i figure this might go to under 5.00 and become real good buying oppurtunity to get more so i set platform at 4.50 but will try to watch it myself to catch a daily low price about 3 days after exdiv is usually lowest price.but this aint regular deal here so price might drop further thanks to the lawsuits. jmho
If you are in at 5.45, I would stay the course till hell freezes over also. I don't think it will go much below 5.00. A bad thing to worry about is if it goes below 5, institutions and funds will not be able to hold it.
I don't think canceling the dividend is in the cards but another reduction is possible in 2013; especially, if managemnt doesn't meet it own cash flow projections. Keep in mind that Atlantic Power management hasn't given reliable guidance in the recent past and the lawyers are about to have a field day with their class action suits.
