Captain Kangaroo asked: "Why did this stock fall?"
Actually, I have a theory of my own...Sandy.
The week after Sandy hit, the stock fell from $15.00 to $12.00.
Traded in that range (10-12) for a couple months.
Then in Feb, when the pain of lost revenue began to fully take effect, it tanked.
By March it was in the 5's with 75% less dividend.
Check the chart and calender. The pattern is clear.
Catalyst or overall reason?
I dont know did power producing facilities get damaged during storm or just the boards credability with all the lies (hehe) sorry. i think the board was paying an unsustainable divi which artificially held up the pps. creative accting etc. i havent been able to find out exactly if there are any old longs hangin in there who could enlighten us that would be great. Some guy named wool something or other doesnt really make sence in his posts and there is one other guy who replies to me in a cryptic way he makes about as much sence as a cider block so anyone else i would love to hear from. :) what up market_td how u doin?
Doing great, Fighter.
I for one am glad for your presence and valuable analysis on this board.
The many points you have raised are most beneficial.
I just can't get past the exact timing of things, and feel that the many underlying facts you present were compounded by the natural disaster/macro event....a catalyst.
BTW, GREAT timing on the NBG call...not sure if you saw my comment on it the other day on one of the boards...
Market it looks as though the co. cut the divi so it naturally fell. they made a purchase of a power unit for 85 million and took on 164 million in debt at that time as well. something about a poison pill to fend off atake over as well. thats what i got so far but insiders appear to be buying so thats good and where else can u get a 5 dollar stock that pays a divi so i'd buy this why not. safe as another. Buy low sell high right. as long as they pay a divi here the floor appears to be in and rising . good luck.
