Have to disagree on takeover. Tgal stock was below 50 cents for at least a year. If lam and especially cash rich amat didn't make a tender offer then its doubtful they will now. I am puzzled however as to why amat didn't buy out tegal. Here's a company with a billion or so in cash and could have bought out tgal for a mere 50 million or so. Antitust problems may be a long shot reason though I doubt it. The 900 series,though very long in the tooth, was from a maintenance standpoint one of the best engineered semiconductor tools I worked on.
